Managing Your Account

Account settings, team management, and billing.

Account Settings

To access your account settings, click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

Profile Information

  • Name -- Your display name across the platform
  • Email -- Your login email (also used for notifications)
  • Organization -- Your organization or company name

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter and confirm your new password
  4. Click Update Password

Email Notifications

Control which notifications you receive:

  • Scan Complete -- When a document scan finishes
  • Weekly Summary -- A weekly digest of your compliance status
  • Account Alerts -- Security and billing notifications

Team Management

Adaline supports team accounts so multiple people in your organization can collaborate.

Inviting Team Members

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Select their role
  5. Click Send Invite

Team Roles

RolePermissions
OwnerFull access, billing, team management
AdminFull access, team management (no billing)
MemberUpload documents, view reports
ViewerView reports only

Removing Team Members

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Find the member you want to remove
  3. Click the menu icon and select Remove

Removed members immediately lose access to all organization data.

Billing

Viewing Your Plan

Go to Settings > Billing to see your current plan, usage, and billing history.

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Confirm the change

Plan changes take effect immediately. If upgrading mid-cycle, you'll be charged a prorated amount.

Payment Methods

Adaline accepts major credit cards and invoicing for enterprise accounts. To update your payment method:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Payment Method
  3. Enter your new card details
  4. Click Save

Data and Privacy

Exporting Your Data

You can export all your data at any time:

  1. Go to Settings > Data
  2. Click Export All Data
  3. You'll receive a download link via email

Deleting Your Account

To delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Go to Settings > Account
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Confirm by entering your password

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All documents, reports, and team data will be deleted.
